Canada to Twin Cities E-Mail Discussion List (Information supplied on this topic is from experience only, and in no way reflects policies, regulations, or laws from either Canada, USA, Manitoba, or Minnesota).

Join the E-Mail Discussion list! You only need to register ONCE.  This list allows you to send and receive messages via e-mail from other people who have subscribed to this list. It is simply, and safe! Say for example, 200 people are registered, including yourself. If you decide you want to send everyone on the list a message. Send that message to: canada_twincities@yahoogroups.com using your e-mail program.  You do NOT have to visit our WEB site when sending e-mail!  Just add the above e-mail address to your e-mail program's address book.  View our E-Mail List Archives and read messages posted by our e-mail community!  Archives started May 31, 2000.

Why join?  Currently, there are about 250 members on board.  All are Canadian.  Most are living in the Minneapolis area.  Some area Canadians living in other parts of the USA.  A we also have a few Canadian members that are still living in Canada, but are considering moving to the USA.  Topics of discussion include problems at the border, getting green cards, shopping, hockey talk, and various events that Canadians hold through-out the year (Canada Day Picnic, Restaurant Outings, etc).  This is NOT a spam list.  The actual list is kept private, and your e-mail address is never revealed as such.  When you POST a message, people can either reply to the entire list (by hitting their REPLY button), or send a private e-mail back to the poster.

Once subscribed, to SEND mail to others, click on the e-mail hyperlink below or send mail to:

(Note the underscore "_" between canada and twincities!)

Users that send e-mail to canada_twincities@yahoogroups.com that have NOT subscribed will have their e-mail returned.  You MUST subscribe in order to send e-mail to this address!  E-mails gathered from this e-mail list will not be distributed to anyone, ever!
