Here is some information that might fit the scope of your site. Enjoy!

Everyday differences:
*    You can get back into a warm car while pumping gas in January.
*    You won't find vinegar for your fries anywhere
*    You'll often have to explicitly ask for cream for your coffee.
*    No pizza at McDonalds.
*    Grocery stores are open 24hr/day
*    There is no such thing as boxing day (Dec 26th is a regular day)
*    Thanks Giving is a 2 day holiday (4 day long weekend) in November
*    Charcoal BBQ's are much more popular than propane BBQ's
*    Don't order a Caesar or Paralyzer at the bar because they've never heard of them
*    You can exchange your empty propane tank for a full one at the convenience store
*    You can buy the Sunday paper at the store after 6:00pm on Saturday
*    Public outdoor archery lanes can be found in parks all over town
*    Minnesota has a former pro wrestler for a governor
*    If you have an insurance claim (car, house, etc), the insurance company just cuts you a check
*    Debit cards are not except anywhere and therefore virtually non-existent
*    People write checks for everything everywhere
*    McDonald's takes checks
*    Many places take checks without requiring ID
*    If you lose your check book, you might as well close your account and move
*    Some popular restaurants take checks but not credit cards
*    During blizzards, they plow the freeways continuously so they are always clear.
*    When celebrities come to town (except Garth Brooks), it's no big deal.
*    Seasonal decorating is as big a deal at Halloween as it is at Christmas.
*    A three car garage is almost as common in Minneapolis as a two car garage in Winnipeg

Language differences:
*    Praw-cess not pro-cess
*    Gar-ahge not gar-adge
*    a-baa-awt not a-boot (needs a drawl)
*    roof sounds like book not boot (or "ruf" like a dog barking - Neil!)
*    root sounds like book not boot
*    barley sandwich means nothing in Minnesota
*    vacation is when you take a regular work day off
*    holiday is a day everyone gets off (you don't choose them)
*    BBQ's are most commonly referred to as grills

Unavailable products:
*    Caramilk candy bar
*    Glossette Peanuts and Raisins
*    Salt & Vinegar potato chips (you can find them occasionally but they taste different)
*    Rye whiskey (you'll have to learn to like bourbon)
*    Clamato juice (it's available if you hunt but it's so expensive it might as well not be)
*    Slurpees are almost non-existent unless you like fruit flavors
